Excel doesn’t have a feature for adding subscripts and superscripts into legends in excel but there are a couple of ways around it for chemical formulas and units, etc. In the video I show you how to use symbols (unicodes) to add superscripts and subscripts however these only work for a limited number of things. If you are doing something that isn’t quite so common you will need to use a text box or an equation box and then put it over the top of the graph and group it with the graph. Also trying to subscript the legend itself doesn’t work because it changes the whole of the text and you can’t subscript the text in a cell because it won’t transfer across when you add it to the legend.
